Blatantly ignoring Briggs, Mike continued to stare defiantly into the camera. Getting himself killed was the point. It would be easy enough to convince Briggs to leave after that. Their captor was smart enough to be able to keep any further investigations chasing their tails. Mike would be stuck, but the cost was worth it. So long as Briggs walked free.
