It did sound almost believable. Ba'al flashes a quick smile. He slowly moves back toward Mike. "That would be lovely, if true." he says with amusement.

It turns out, he is a lot faster and stronger than he looks. He closes the gap between them grabs Mike's throat in a vice-like grip. He has strength enough to easily pull Mike to his feet by his neck alone. His other hand, brings the syringe down in his shoulder.

"The truth, please." He had been choking him but he relaxes his grip enough that Mike should be able to get words out.
