Had this been before the bathtub, Mike may have still had a bit of shame left when the tarp was pulled aside. He couldn't see who it was, but all he felt was dread. He didn't care if they saw him like this, he just didn't want them dragged into this mess. It only got worse hearing Briggs' voice. Even before the other agent touched the tape, Mike was trying to warn him off. Shaking his head and trying to talk through it.

He growls in pain as the tape pulls at the stubble on his face, but it was fleeting. "Rossi." He said the name sharply, hoping to get his point across. Briggs couldn't break cover under any circumstances. "You gotta get outta here! PLEASE! What I owe's not worth it. He wants you!"
