Ba'al's eyes narrow as he considers that proposal. It would succeed in convincing 'Rossi' to not come looking for him but the fall out... well, it would be entertaining. But he should still consider the dangers. Given what he's seen of their interactions so far and what he already knows about who Rossi likely really is... revenge will be on the table once Mike is out.

That could prove to be a problem later but then, he said nothing about not recapturing him later. The safest option would be to implant a symbiote and avoid it altogether. He'll hold the symbiote option in reserve for now. After all, he's not sure he wants to share just yet. Frankly, Ba'al does just wants to see what will happen.
