"If that's your decision," Ba'al says with a slightly exaggerated shrug. It appears nothing Mike just said was taken as negative. "But don't worry... I'll still hold up my end. He will be released."

A brief pause. He keys something in on the tablet. On the screen, the heavy metal door's latches release. Briggs is obviously startled and suspicious of this sudden change. He doesn't make any move toward the door yet.

"If he can find his way out, he's free to go." Because Ba'al considers himself generous, he calls up a few more camera feeds around where Briggs is being kept. It's well guarded and seemingly still in the same complex they're in.
